Q Can I buy You See Red items anywhere else? A The products designed by You See Red's own artists are exclusive to this website. You can buy reproductions of railway posters etc elsewhere, but we believe we are the only properly licensed site to offer them to any measurement between A4 and A0! Q How long will I have to wait for my order to be delivered? A An unframed print will be dispatched within 2-3 working days by first-class post. A framed print will take an additonal 7-10 working days. If your order is required by a specific date, please ring us before placing your order and we will do our best to accommodate you. Q I can't find the railway posters on your site anymore. Where are they? A We introduced the railway posters to our site to complement our own designs, selling them under licence. We recently decided that we wanted to concentrate on our own work, so we have ended our licence agreement and therefore can no longer offer the railway posters. All those we had on the site are available from the Science and Society Picture Library: http://www.ssplprints.com/category.php?catid=1944 Q I seem to have to scroll a lot on my monitor to be able to view all of the parts of the site, can I resolve this? A In order to present our images at the best possible size, the YSR website is designed to be viewed at a size of 1024 x 768 pixels. This should mean that the entire page is visible on a 15" flat screen monitor or laptop. If you have a conventional 15" monitor, it may be set to a resolution of 800x600 pixels, which will mean that you need to scroll. For most monitors it is possible to reset the resolution to 1024x768 pixels in the monitor control panel, which may be worth a try. Q I'm worried about using my credit card on the internet or over the phone, so can I pay by cheque? A When you make an online purchase from You See Red, your payment is taken via WorldPay, which is part of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, so your details are secure. If you order over the phone, we key your details direct into WorldPay's payment system and do not keep any record of them ourselves. If you would still rather pay by cheque, that's fine, it just takes a bit longer; give us a ring to place your order and we will despatch it as soon as your cheque has cleared. Q I've emailed you with a question but had no reply. Why? A We're really sorry about that. We do our best to reply to any email within a day or so, but we've had some problems with those pesky spammers clogging up the email server and although we think we've sorted it out, some emails may have gone astray in the process. Sometimes emails just get lost in the ether for no apparent reason. If you haven't heard from us, please try again or pick up the phone during office hours and we'll be happy to help with any query you may have. Q When I click on the previews of items in the portfolios, nothing happens - should I get a larger view? A Yes you should. The most likely reason for the larger image not appearing is that you have not installed an up to date version of Macromedia Flash Player - this free and harmless utility unlocks a lot of the site. Use the links to the Macromedia website download centre on most pages of the site. |
